Binary Sunset Ltd (“we”, “us”) is a software design and development studio registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. • Newsletter subscriptions — your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
• Usage data — anonymised analytics about how visitors use the site, collected only with your consent.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry, deliver services you have requested, and — where you have opted in — send occasional updates. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except where required to deliver our services or comply with the law.

Legal basis for processing

We process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your request) and pre-contractual steps. Newsletter processing relies on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.

How long we keep your data

Enquiry records are retained for up to two years after our last contact, unless a business relationship develops. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Anonymised analytics are retained for up to 26 months.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any of these rights, email hello@binarysunset.co.uk.

Security

We protect personal data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and regular security reviews. Our own trade is building secure systems; we apply the same standards to our own.
